TRADE&ROW presents “WE THE PEOPLE” documentary film

make people to think about “who are we, how do we come together
andwhat do we, people, stand for.” The first festival was held on
October 16th, 2008 in CENTER FOR THE ARTS, EAGLE ROCK.

of truck drivers and “what it’s like to live your life behind the wheel.”
There is an interview of a single mother who has three kids and how
she doesn’t s;eep for fourty two hours.
In short, these series of films’ purpose was to give people a voice
and the small groups to speak up and have their voice heard by
others. Our professor Jimmy Moss was a member of TRADE&ROW,
which is an organization to raise questions of current social issues,
to bring people together and to develop and produce community
programs and events.
In my opinion, WE THE PEOPLE was very impressive in a way to
remindus of other people, how they live, what are their needs, what
difficultiesthey have, etc. It was right on time to show us and to make
us elect someone, who will take care of these issues and problems of
many people. The documentaries were very sensitively chosen, and
how the students like ourselves, are struggling without papers, or how
single mothers are driving forty two hours to take care of their children.
Haveyou ever thought about these issues before? I haven't, and this
made me to think about my surroundings and give my vote to someone,
who will solve similar problems.
